1906 Berthold Mueller Imported Sterling Silver Footed Cups
Item Details
A set of two antique Berthold Mueller footed sterling silver cups. Each piece features a waved rim with tapered, pentagon-shaped bodies. Each panel features a repoussé arabesque design throughout and rest on scrolled feet. The pieces are marked to their bases with the importer mark ‘BM’ for Berthold Mueller, the acorn with two leaves inside an oval for a Chester city mark, a 925 silver purity mark, a 1906 date mark, as well as a lion rampant in a square shape with canted corners believed to be Hanau silversmith B. Neresheimer & Sohne. The pair have a combined total approximate weight of 6.540 ozt.
