Japanese Type 30 World War II Bayonet with Scabbard
Item Details
A World War II era Japanese type 30 bayonet with leather scabbard. This single-edged sword bayonet features a wooden handle and a straight crossguard, with a serial number stamped to the end of the pommel. Maker’s marks on the ricasso identify that this bayonet was created late in the war at the Toyoda Jido Shokki Seisakusho Arsenal (Toyota Automatic Loom Works), which later became Toyota Motors. The included leather scabbard has a double belt hook and a reinforced chape.
