A collection of vintage china cup and saucer sets including Homer Laughlin. The eight pairs of varying shapes and sizes have Asian and French origins. The pair with bamboo accents has a four-character stamp to the base; the gilded pair with violet blossoms is marked ‘Made in China’; the pair illustrated with blue and yellow ducks and waterlilies is marked to the base ‘Japanese Porcelain Ware – A.C.F. – Decorated in Hong Kong’; the pair with fluted edges and yellow butterflies is marked with a two-character stamp; the pieces with gilding to the rims and clusters of light pink blossoms is marked ‘Narumi China – Occupied Japan’. Two floral pairs are marked ‘Limoges – France’ and ‘Haviland – Limoges’. The pair with bluebirds and flowering branches is marked to the saucer base ‘Homer Laughlin – Republic’.
