A hand colored etching with aquatint on paper titled Le Malentendu by listed Russian-French artist Boris O’Klein (1887 – 1983). This work, the title meaning ‘The Misunderstanding’ in English, depicts dogs of various breeds standing on their hind legs staring at a cat cornered up a tree on the sidewalk. The piece is signed by the artist in graphite to the lower right margin and titled in French to the lower left margin. It is presented unframed.
