USS Preston Model Ship in Display Case

A model USS Preston (DD-327) in display case. The DD-327, a destroyer, was launched in 1920 and decommissioned in 1930. It was named after the Union officer Samuel W. Preston (1840-1865). The ship is presented in a display case framed with medium toned wood and glass panels to the side. The front panel includes brass tone hinges to its top and a key hold to its lower portion.
