Antique English Sterling Silver Cruet Set

Item Details

An antique English sterling silver cruet set which has been pieced together with different silversmiths, dates, and cities. The footed stand has an open lattice rim and a wood bottom and is by Hilliard & Thomason of Birmingham, England circa 1891. There are two tall crystal cruets with sterling silver caps by Charles Fox II of London circa 1834. The crystal jar and the sterling silver cap is by James Garrad circa 1896. The last cruet piece is only marked with the sterling silver lion passant.

- stand’s handle is slightly bent; crystal cruet pieces are chipped throughout; dings to the lids
