A mixed media painting of a rabbi on natural, fibrous paper, by an artist signing the work ‘Rogers.’ The piece is rendered with watercolor and ink and depicts the long-bearded figure with his gaze cast upward, a yarmulke resting on the back of his head. The work is signed to its lower right corner and is matted under glass in a reddish frame with a gold tone fillet and a wire to its verso for hanging.

Condition

- scratches and chips on frame; tears on edges of paper are intentional and a result of the paper-making process.
