A set of vintage Hepplewhite style chairs. This pair of matching chairs features a straight crest rail and panel with gilt painted detail over three splats joining curved armrests flanking a cushion seat rising on tapering legs with rosette stamped blocks. The wooden frame features a white paint finish with gold tone detail. The chair is upholstered in a striped fabric. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

- minor cracks to frame; both chairs wobble slightly; minor areas of wear to the brushed white finish on the wood; small amounts of fraying to the seat fabric around the armrests.
