An offset lithograph on paper attributed to well-listed American artist Norman Rockwell (1894 – 1978), titled Springtime. This work depicts a winged personification of Spring as a young woman in a green dress wearing a flower crown, whispering in the ear of a barefoot boy holding a straw hat and a walking stick with his dog at his feet. The piece is signed in plate to the lower right and includes a printed banner with the title of the piece. It is presented behind an off-white mat with a red liner, behind glass, in a gold tone wooden frame with a hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; light wear to frame finish.
