A wooden carving of a woman and deer by Balinese artist Ketut Widia (born 1947). This piece is rendered from what appears to be burnished driftwood and depicts a woman crouching down to comfort a buck, with a pair of carved and polished hands present to the opposite side. The underside of the carving bears protective felt pads and the incised text ‘K. Widia, Mas Bali.’
