Item Details

A vintage hand-knotted Kazak style wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of pink, ivory, indigo, aqua, ochre, wine, powder blue, and sage. The pink colored field features three pendant medallions along with geometric shaped motifs, and sawtooth bordered spandrels. Framing the field is a main border of lobed flowers and a chained patterned guard border. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
