Trio of Vintage Cherry Advertisements
Item Details
A trio of framed vintage cherry advertisement. The largest framed advertisement, shown under glass in a black frame, features large cherries to the front and a banner to the bottom that reads ‘H.K. & F.B. Thurber & Co. New York’. The two smaller prints both are shown under glass and feature mating. One print is based off of the famous artwork Washington Crossing the Delaware and George Washington holding a large Northwest Cherry. To the top of the art it says, ‘The American Classic’ and below the art it says, ‘Northwest Cherries’. It also features a cherry red matting with a black frame. The second print is based off of the famous artwork American Gothic and depicts the farmer and his wife in a happier state with a large cherry to the center of the pitchfork. To the top of the art it says, ‘The American Classic’ and below the art it says, ‘Northwest Cherries’. It also features a mauve toned frame with a periwinkle matting.
