Baseball Glove with Cards
Item Details
An assortment of baseball items, one vintage catchers mitt and baseball cards. The mitt was made by T.M.C. model 1232. There are fourteen 22 KT. (gold foil) gold baseball cards from various years in the 1990s; each card is marked ‘Gold Performance 22 Karat Gold’. Each card has a serial number with a facsimile signature. The players represented in this lot are: Ty Cobb, Ken Griffey Jr., Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, Frank Thomas, Nolan Ryan, Honus Wagner, Jackie Robinson, Cal Ripken Jr., Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Roberto Clemente, Bob Feller and ‘The First Five Hall of Famers’. Each card is in its’ original screw-down holder. A box of 1991 Fleer cards rounds out this lot.
Condition
- glove is fair: leather is stiff, worn and some piping is missing
- gold cards appear to be in very good condition, they were not removed from their cases for inspection
- 1991 Fleer – not sealed, did not check for completion or condition
