An antique mahogany cased Victrola. This Victor Talking Machine Company Victrola Model VV-XIV in a mahogany Queen Anne style cabinet with record storage below had a production number of 252,000, representing 3.2% of all the Victrolas produced. The serial number of this cabinet: 196557 indicates that it was made in 1912. On the inside the lid is the original Nipper dog with ‘His Master’s Voice’ logo dating from about 1906. Near the turn table with its nickel hardware is the metal plate with the serial number and model information. Comes with the original key and cranking arm. Marked numerous times inside the cabinet.
