Antique Armand Marseille "Lilly" and Vintage American Character "Sweet Sue"
Item Details
A pair of antique and vintage dolls. This array includes an antique shoulder doll named Lilly with a hand-painted bisque head featuring dark brown hair, brown inset glass eyes, ruddy cheeks, and parted red lips that reveal a row of teeth. Her jointed body is comprised of cloth and kid leather. The back of her neck is embossed with ‘Lilly’, and was produced by Armand Marseille. Additionally, a vintage American Character Sweet Sue baby doll with molded waves, sleep eyes with real lashes, rosy cheeks, and a pink pout. She wears a white and pink bonnet with matching dress over a rubber body, and is marked ‘Pat No 2675644, American Character’ to the back of her neck. Also included is a variety of doll clothing.
Condition
- significant wear, spotting, and discoloration to both dolls.
