Item Details
A vintage National Automatic Machines Company Model 50 personal weighing device. The freestanding machine features: a round mirror framed by a window border through which to see the arm against the tick marked chart behind it; a rectangular mirrored cabinet door hiding the mechanisms; a solid platform base; and a pair of vertical handles attached to the sides for aid when stepping onto the machine. Charts listing the ideal weight for women and men are printed to either side of the round dial. In the other corners are the price per use (one cent) and instructions. A metal coin slot is affixed to the case on the right side of the dial.
