An Asian ink painting on paper of a bird in a flowering tree. This monochromatic piece, which shows signs of originally being a scroll, depicts a bird perched in a flowering tree against an empty background. The piece has been mounted on board and is bordered by blue brocade fabric all around and white and brown brocade fabric at the top and base of the composition. The piece has a red artist’s stamp to the lower right. It is presented in a gold-tone faux bamboo frame. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.

Condition

- because this piece was originally rolled in a scroll, there are creases and small tears visible throughout.
