WWII Food Ration Book Collection
Item Details
A collection of eight World War II ration books in sleeves. This lot includes three War Rations Book One, three of War Rations Book Two, and two of War Rations Book Three, plus a brown flap case reading ‘Point Ration Books’. The books each bear serial numbers and registration to a 24-year-old couple in Detroit, Michigan; many coupons have been used, but many others remain, including specialty coupons for processed foods or sugar. Also included is a booklet entitled How to Be Easy On Your Ration Book: Knox Wartime Recipes, by Knox Gelatine Co. of Johnstown, New York.
