Antique Colonial-Revival Rocking Chair

Item Details

An antique, Colonial-Revival rocking chair in birch, having a dark original finish. The tall back features a carved, serpentine crest rail, above attenuated turned spindles, shaped arms and a caned seat frame, on turned legs and stretchers. Circa 1900.

Condition

- having minor wear; four metal braces added to underside of mitered seat frame; finish and caned seat appear to be original.
