Circa 1930s collection of children’s books illustrated by Ferie Bisel Peat; most published by The Saalfield Publishing Company of Akron, Ohio. The titles include ‘Picture Story-Book’, ‘Little Housekeepers’, ‘A Child’s Garden of Verses’, ‘Kittens’, ‘Forest Friends’. Also, ‘Little Black Sambo’ and ‘Hansel and Gretel’ both by The Harter Publishing Company of Cleveland, Ohio. And a Mother Goose book, publisher unknown. All are filled with delightful illustrations sure to please.
Condition
These books are overall good with wear to covers, discoloration to pages consistent with age and usage.
