A signed oil painting on board of a landscape by well listed American artist Arthur Hammond (1857-1947). This painting depicts a loosely rendered landscape at sunset with a rural road traversing the land and purple and pink mountains in the distance. The painting is presented in a gold-tone and black composite frame with cast embellishments. This piece is signed by hand in graphite to the verso and is equipped to hang. A short document with biographical information about the artist is attached to the verso.
