1895 Hand Sewn and Embroidered "Lattice" Quilt

An antique hand sewn and embroidered Lattice quilt. Featured is a hand sewn quilt with deep red sashing in the Lattice pattern separating ivory colored blocks embellished with hand-embroidered flowers, plants, and animals. A center block features a monogram reading ‘AKN’ above the year ‘1895’. The piece is finished with red binding and hand picked white backing. A maker’s mark was not visible.

- to fair; some discoloration and fraying to edges; minor to significant spotting and discoloration to fabric throughout.
