Vintage Mahogany Secretary Desk

Item Details

A circa early 20th century vintage, relatively small secretary desk, in mahogany. It has an upper hutch with sliding tambour double doors, enclosing three small drawers and four letter slots. The desktop has inlaid border lines, and folds out, with sliding supports to the underside. The body of the piece features two drawers with hanging metal ring pulls, with porcelain plates with transfer images. The piece stands on tapering, square legs. It has no maker’s mark, but does have a Mahogany Association tag, with the member number 184.

Condition

- light scratches and scuffs, with one notable scuffed area to the bottom of one of the slots inside the hutch.
