A giclee on paper after an oil painting by N.C. Wyeth titled Captain Bill Bones. The original painting was created as an illustration for the Robert Louis Stevenson novel Treasure Island and it depicts a tough looking burly man holding a spyglass and standing on a rock ledge high above the ocean while his cloak billows in the wind. The print is signed in the plate to the lower left and is mounted under glass with a tan mat cut with a separate opening to show the artist’s name and the title and information about the painting. The wooden frame has a brown finish and is wired for hanging.
