Item Details

An antique Louis XVI style fauteuil with inlays. The armchair features a dark mahogany and burled mahogany veneered framework with an inlaid center medallion and stinging. The shaped stiles flank the shield-shaped back over padded arms, and carved hip supports. The scrolled arm supports are pushed back and accented with bellflower inlays. The chair rests on short, turned front legs and splayed back legs, all on casters.
