R. Hurzler Eastern European Oil Painting on Canvas of Alpine Landscape

An oil painting on canvas of an Eastern European landscape by artist R. Hurzler. This piece depicts two large Alpine chalets on a grassy hill among the snow-covered mountains, a dirt road cutting between the structures. The work is signed by hand to the lower right and presented in a wood frame without glass. There is a hook for hanging to the verso of the frame.

- to fair; some discoloration to painting; loss of tension in canvas; craquelure to paint; stains to verso of canvas; scratches, chips and wear to frame throughout.
