An offset lithograph on paper attributed to listed Italian artist Leonetto Cappiello (1875 – 1942), titled Mossant. This advertising poster was originally created for the Mossant hat company and features the disembodied arms of three men in suits holding out their Mossant hats on a yellow background with the company’s name printed to the top of the piece. The piece is signed in plate to the lower right and dated 1938. It also includes copyright information in French to the lower left. It is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a hanging bracket to the verso.

Condition

- scratches to frame; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; taped backing; scratches to glass.
