An assortment of mineral specimens. This assortment of more than forty mineral specimens features a crystal of the satin spar variety of the calcium sulfate mineral gypsum that displays a parallel, fibrous tabular crystal habit which distinguishes the satin spar variety of the mineral from alabaster and selenite. Additional specimens include a clear quartz specimen with black mica inclusions and halite crystals in shades of white and orange. No collection locality information is provided for these specimens.
