An amethyst geode slice and an amethyst crystal mass. This pair of geologic specimens features an amethyst geode slice that displays a thing outer rim of banded cryptocrystalline quartz that grades into a thick region of coarse crystalline quartz with light purple euhedral amethyst points projecting into the central cavity. Also included is a light to medium amethyst crystal mass with a metal sailboat affixed to the top. No collection locality information is provided for these specimens.
