A collection of six antique etchings on laid paper from ‘Les Caprices’ by Nicolas Bonnart (1637 – 1718) after original works by Jacques Callot (1592-1635). These prints depict a series of character sketches including swordsmen, peasants, gentlemen, and native peoples. There are two individual illustrations per page. The prints are marked _Callot, in., to the lower left and HBonnart, ex. to the lower right. These pieces are unmatted and unframed and await your choice of presentation.
