This mid-century modern power base connects to a Ernst Leitz Wetzlar molecular microscope to provide power to the internal light unit to light the slide. The base is of metal construction and features a grey hammered metal finish, black Bakelite dial and accent face-plate. The base has the original wiring and Bakelite plug.
