1847 Rogers Brothers "Crown" Neoclassical Style Silver Plate Dinner Forks
Item Details
A set of five dinner forks in the Crown pattern by 1847 Rogers Brothers, acquired by International Silver Co. in 1898. The pattern was first introduced in 1885 and features Neoclassical influences. Each handle depicts a flared crown shape at the terminal, accented by lightly chased tassels and flowers. The handles are marked with personalized engravings as well as ‘1847 Rogers Bros. 12’ to the reverse.
Condition
- minor surface wear including faint scratches and minimal tarnish; items have personalized engravings.
