Vietri Serving Bowl and Candlestick
Item Details
A Vietri terracotta serving bowl and candlestick. Both pieces are decorated with an opaque white glaze and hand-painted in a pastel palette. The bowl features a large radial, floral like design to the center with complimentary scalloped pattern to the rim. The candlestick bears complementary patterns in the same colors. Both items are marked to the underside; the bowl is hand-signed ‘Vietri 1986 Italy 2A’ and the candlestick is impressed with a symbol.
Condition
- minor crazing and glaze cracks; faint surface marks present; would benefit from cleaning.
