This painting depicts the aforementioned mushroom presented against a stark white background, featuring a thin stem and textural, light brown cap. To the lower margins is a painted inscription identifying the fungi and where it grows. The painting is presented under glass beneath matting in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire and a personal note to the verso.
