Hitchcock Two Drawer Stand

A Hitchcock two drawer stand. This stencilled Sheraton style two drawer stand has a natural finish cherry top on the ochre painted stand with gilt, black and green stencilled decoration, with natural finish birch drawer fronts having embossed brass pulls with porcelain inserts decorated with a patriotic eagle, the stand on ring turned baluster legs ending on elongated blunt arrow feet. Marked by the maker on the lower reverse edge: L. Hitchcock, Hitchcocksville, Conn. Warranted. This mark was used from 1955-2006.
