Henriot Quimper and Salins Faïence Plates
Item Details
A pair of Henriot Quimper faïence plates and a Salins faïence plate. The Quimper plates feature a Breton man and a woman, bordered in cobalt and yellow. Each plate is marked to the verso ‘Henriot Quimper France’. The Salins plate is glazed in a cream glaze with a raised basket weave texture and a painted leaf with bunches of purple grapes in the background. The plate is marked ‘Salins’ to the verso.
