A pair of Japanese prints in the style of katazome-shi, stencil-dyed paper. Included is a piece titled Happiness, which depicts a circle containing mountains and stylized text at the center of a blue field. Accompanying this print is a red piece with two circles, one featuring additional text and the other a mountain landscape. These pieces are presented under acrylic glass in silver tone frames, Happiness with a label partially reading ‘Hand Stencil Dyed Japanese Print, by an Apprentice of K– –isawa, Living –rt Treasure’ to its verso.

Condition

- surface scratches & scuffing throughout the glass; silver tone metal frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame.
