Pair of Carl Thieme Saxonian Porcelain Factory Urns
Item Details
A pair of yellow Neoclassical porcelain covered urns, marked by the Carl Thieme Saxonian Porcelain Factory. Each lid features artichoke finials and acanthus leaves in bisque porcelain, on a yellow glazed ground. The main body has an oval panel with hand-painted scenes to each side, in magenta and embellished with bisque masks and floral garlands, on a yellow glazed ground with stippled cell pattern, above bolted fluted bases and a square plinth. Early 20th century.
Condition
- one vase is slightly loose from the foot and may be re-tightened; minor chipping to one vase inside the lid rim.

7.5" W x 15.0" H x 5.25" D
- measures a single urn with the lid on; both are the same size.
