A vintage Fort Hood US Army patch with booklet. This pairing features a vintage World War II era from Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, which was specially built to house and train the Army’s contingent of tank destroyers required to counter Germany’s powerful armor. The patch features the face of a black snarling panther over tank wheels, set on a yellow background. Also included is a Camp Hood, Texas, pamphlet, with the Fort Hood logo and the motto ‘Seek, Strike, Destroy’ to the cover.
