A mid to late 20th century silver gelatin photograph depicting former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt (1884 – 1962) standing and conversing with a man in a grey suit. The photo is signed indiscernibly and dated 1971 in red ink by the male figure depicted in the photo, and additionally inscribed ‘Dear Jean, Once before I met a great gal..’. It is matted in off-white and presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame fitted with a sawtooth hanger to the verso.
