Antique Sterling Silver Vesta Cases

A collection of three antique sterling silver vesta cases or match holders, popular during the late Victorian, Edwardian and Art Nouveau eras. This collection includes a case featuring raised fleur de lis designs, a case featuring a chased shell and arabesque scroll motif with a beaded border, and a case featuring foliate engravings with a personalized engraving to the center. Two feature snap shut lids at the top and the third features a side hinge with a kiss clasp. All are are marked ‘Sterling’ and feature round bails for hanging. The total approximate weight is 0.695 ozt.
