An offset lithograph after Petasophora Iolata ornithologist John Gould (1804-1881) and his lithographer Henry Constantine Richter (1821-1902). The print depicts a trio of green-and-blue hummingbirds near a tropical plant, a hazy rendering of hills visible behind them. The print bears printer’s information, along with the title and artists’ names, to its lower margin, and is presented behind glass and a French mat with marbleized detailing in a gold tone frame with a wire for hanging.

- edge wear to frame; tonal variation to print; slight residue to surface; large stain toward center of print.
