A pair of hand-painted Greek Orthodox icons on wood. These pieces use gouache and gold leaf to depict an image of Christ as shepherd and the angels Μιχαήλ and Γαβριήλ (Michael and Gabriel). Each piece features a loop for display to its verso along with a multi-lingual certificate noting ‘This icon is handpainted in the ancient technique of byzantine art with goldleaf’
