A Gillinder & Sons Westward Ho EAPG glass lidded compote. This piece features a clear, round bowl with a fitted, domed lid adorned with a figural shaped finial. Along the sides of the bowl are pressed images, scenes depicting a buffalo, log cabin homestead and a deer. It rests on a turned style stem and round, beveled base decorated with a pressed linear design. There are no discernible maker’s marks.

Condition

- light discoloration and surface wear; could benefit from cleaning.
