A vintage hand knotted Persian Hajjalili Tabriz area rug. This wool rug features a floral center medallion and pendants in a palette of blues, greens, scarlet, gold and white within a red lozenge-shaped field. The field is bounded by principally white spandrels and surrounded by a Herati major border within Bidjar minor borders, and the far ends have close cropped white cotton fringe. The rug is tagged underneath.
