Newport Silver Co. Weighted Sterling Candle Holder and Weighted Sterling Vase

A Newport Silver Company weighted sterling silver candleholder and Schweitzer Silver Corporation weighted sterling silver bud vase. The tapered bud vase has a has a flared mouth with a raised floral band on the rim and around the round base. The base is marked ‘Sterling weighted’ with an ‘S’ inside a diamond for the Schweitzer Silver Company. This is presented with a weighted sterling silver candleholder with a simple capital, stepped base and an insert with a pierced design around the sides. The base is marked ‘Newport Sterling cement filled reinforced with rod of other metal.’

Condition

minor surface wear including faint scratches and minimal tarnish.
