A vintage hand knotted Persian Malayer Sarouk area rug. This wool rug features a geometric center medallion in a rectangular field populated by linear and floral designs in a palette of salmon, white, indigo, brown and gray. The field is bounded by floral spandrels and surrounded by a compound border, and the far ends have close cropped white fringe. The rug is tagged underneath.
