Item Details
A sterling silver vanity set by the International Silver Company. This includes a faux tortoise shell comb, a hair brush, and a hand mirror with sterling silver handles. They are embellished with scrolling borders, fluted hollow handles, and engraved sprigs, with monogrammed cartouches. Each is marked ‘international Sterling’ with the pictorial maker’s mark of a helmeted shield.
Condition
- some surface wear with markings and tarnishing; minor scratches and scattered silvering loss to oval mirror.
