A 1940s Boy Scout handbook with flashlights. Published by the Boy Scouts of America between 1940 and 1946, this fourth edition of the Handbook for Boys is a green paperback volume with a cover illustration by Norman Rockwell and a cover price of 50¢. Also included are two plastic right angle flashlights with pocket clips; the brown flashlight is marked ‘Official Flashlight Boy Scouts of America’ and ‘GITS Made in U.S.A.’, and the green is marked ‘Made in Hong Kong’.
