Bombé Walnut Chest of Drawers

Item Details

A bombé walnut chest of drawers having a routed serpentine, rectangular top with gilt edges over a bombé shaped case with drawers. The three drawers display a stenciled floral arrangement in a basket. The drawers are fitted with metal bail and knob hardware and the chest stands on curved legs that extend from the stiles and end on scrolled feet joined by a serpentine, striped apron. The sides are also embellished with a stenciled floral design.
